Como ya viene siendo habitual en estas fechas, se han dado a conocer las grandes triunfadoras de las nominaciones a los Oscar de este año, en un acto celebrado este mediodía. En primer lugar destacamos el reconocimiento de la Academia a Penélope Cruz como candidata a Mejor Actriz de Reparto por su papel en la nueva cinta de Woody Allen, 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona'. La actriz se tendrá que codear con Amy Adams, Marisa Tomey, Viola Davis y Taraji P. Henson, quedando por suerte o por desgracia Kate Winslet fuera de esta categoría. En cuanto a las grandes triunfadores de la noche nos encontramos con 'El Curioso caso de Benjamin Button', que lidera la carrera hacia el galardón con 13 nominaciones, seguida muy cerca de 'Slumdog Millionaire', con 10 nominaciones y la secuela de Batman 'El Caballero Oscuro' y 'Mi nombre es Harvey Milk' con 8.
